puppy class
Puppy Classes are aimed at owners with puppies from 3 to 8 months. At this stage puppies are starting the juvenile period, which follows the socialization period. It is important that puppies receive the right stimuli to improve their experiences.
These lessons teaches puppy owners the education and the proper management of the pet, to prevent physical and relational problems, thanks also to the close collaboration with Dott.ssa Ramona Raccagni and her veterinary clinic ProntoPet.
There are 7 lessons: 1 theoretical and 6 practical. The theoretical lesson provides the right knowledge about the dog; notions of learning pedagogy and educational techniques are imparted. In the 6 practical lessons the dog learns:
the game;
basic commands;
correct management of the leash;
socialization;
use of the pet carrier;
proprioceptive gymnastics.
At the end of the course, the puppy will be able to start a sports discipline or take the exam to obtain the “Puppy A-plus Diploma”.
adult class
The Adult Classes are aimed at owners with dogs older than 8-10 months up to 10-12 years. With these lessons the owners will learn the education and the proper management of the pet to prevent physical and relational problems.
The course is introduced by a theoretical lesson; the number of practical lessons changes according to the dog and the owner’s goals. The theoretical lesson provides the right knowledge about the dog; notions of learning pedagogy and educational techniques are imparted. The practical lessons aim to strengthen the owner’s leadership by creating a relationship and a collaboration with his dog, based on respect and trust.
rally-obedience
The Rally-obedience is a sports discipline suitable for all dogs and all handlers, where the pair have to complete a rally with exercises indicated by signs placed on the way.
A Rally-Obedience course includes a wide range of exercises with increasing levels based on the dog, with a mix of notions from Obedience discipline and from basic education rules.
This discipline can be undertaken both at a competitive and an amateur level. Practicing the Rally-O improves the relationship of the pair and increases the obedience of the dog: it learns basic commands while having fun.
Behavioral Recovery
Education lessons to change the pathological behavior of a dog and to reestablish its adequate behavior.
A dog can suffer behavioral problems such as anxiety, separation anxiety, fear, sensory hypo-stimulation, hypersensitivity and hyperactivity, aggression and others. A dog who suffers these diseases can be a desease for the owner, for the society and for itself.
So it is necessary to intervene promptly, as long as the pathology is in the early stages, with a behavioral corrective approach; otherwise, in advanced stages, is required a therapeutic approach.
dog balance
Proprioceptive gymnastic exercises designed specifically for each type of dog. The set of exercises creates instability situations, in order to evaluate and improve the use of the proprioceptive signals coming from the peripheral parts of the body.
Dog Balance is excellent for:
– sporty dogs, to improve their athletic performance;
– sedentary dogs, to allow muscle-joint movement;
– puppies and elderly dogs, to allow a good muscular and sensory development;
– fearful or shy dogs, to motivate them and to increase their self-esteem;
– hyperactive and nervous dogs, to increase self-control and concentration.
